Conservation & Threats

Platydoris scabra
is abundant throughout the Indo-Pacific region and there are currently no recognised threats to this species.  However, Platydoris scabra does exist in marine protected areas such as the coastal waters surrounding Heron Island, in the Great Barrier Reef.  Therefore, Platydoris scabra is not considered to be in any immediate danger from anthropogenic impacts.
