It is possibles to recognise the pneumatophores floating just above the surface, with the gonophores sitting just underneath it (female gonophores closer to pneumatophore). On average, the main fishing tentacle of an "individual" is about 4 cm in length when contracted (coiled). Visual field = 10x10 cm.
