Square plastic containers were set-up in 4 x 4 matrix and assigned treatments (pH 6.0, 6.9, 7.4, 8.1) with a random number generator app. Treatment labels are shown in the top right corner of each container. Aerating the containers was a system of plastic tubing connected to a main of compressed air. Each container held one adult Saccostrea glomerata oyster, 2L of filtered seawater, and 1mL of algae feed mixture. Figure 2 Figure 3
