Student Project Figures Figure 2 Magnification of Zoothamnium specimen extracted from the sediment plate. Magnification level was not recorded however the total size of the specimen was 4mm long. Image shows central stalk, micro-zooids (small cells on each branch) and macro-zooids (large cells attached to the stalk). Brown/green tinge of the specimen may be symbiotic algae.
