Physical Description
The genus Balanoglossus is consisted of unsegmented worm-like animals,with a long and thin soft cylindrical body (Couwelaar, undated), which lengthcan vary from around 20.3 cm to 30.48 cm (Bateson, 1883). These animals do nothave external appendages, andexoskeleton (BotRejectsInc., 2007). They have bilateral symmetry and are triblastics (Mandal, 2012). |
