External Morphology
Bonellia viridis specimens are hard to find but easy to identify.
They have a forked proboscis that is very characteristic of the specie as it is long, thin and green due to the production of Bonellin, a toxic green pigment. They have a cigar-shaped trunk with many papillae all over their body.
