R. graeffei
doesn’t appear on IUCN’s ‘red list’ and nothing has been published on their estimated population size or how that number might be fluctuating. As members of coral reef communities, they may be directly affected by changes in sea level, ocean acidification, and sea surface temperature, not to mention any indirect effects.  However, the way in which this species will respond is impossible to predict without better background estimates or long-term monitoring.
