Size
The spider conch is one of the largest species of strombid gastropods. There is a significant size difference between male and female spider conchs.

Male spider conchs can weigh up to an impressive 300 g. Their shells can reach lengths of up to 29 cm from the tip of their anterior siphonal canal to the tip of their posterior most digitation.

Female spider conchs can weigh up to 100 g. Their shells can reach lengths of up to 18 cm from the tip of their anterior siphonal canal to the tip of their posterior most digitation. |
