TAXONOMY
The taxonomy of A. Queenslandica has been pretty poor so far, with the initial misidentification as Reneira in 2001 ( Leys and Degnan 2001). This is thought to be due to the poor state of porifera taxonomy, and the challenge in identifying Niphadidae in general (Hooper & Van Soest 2002) |
