Identification Resources
Tentacles (to 144) are all alike and not deciduous (not shed). They are bright solid red in color and somewhat adhesive. Each tentacle is simple, tapered and lacks a bulb. Column is smooth and typically brown to maroon in color as with the oral disc. No acontia present but have blue marginal spherules (acrorhagi) lining the inner margin of the anterior portion of the column. |
