| External MorphologyEastern king prawn is an invertebrate prawn species. It has a fused head and thorax called a cephlo-throax ; and an abdomen. on the abdomen it has five sets of swimming appendages called pleopods . On the cephlo-thorax it has five pairs of walking legs and also a number of head appendages including the antenna  and the maxillipeds. (refer to picture below for more details.
