Distribution

The entire distribution of Pseudoceros ferrugineus is relatively unknown as they have not been widely studied. This species has a distribution which is mainly centred around tropical reefs, as they have been found at both Heron Island and the central parts of the Great Barrier Reef (arrow pointing towards Heron island, and the great barrier reef runs north along the coast) in Queensland, Australia. They have also been found in: Palau in Micronesia, the Phillippines, parts of Malaysia and Hawaii. This species may be distributed in many other reefs throughout the world but further studies and surveys would be needed to ascertain this.
