Spirobranchus sp., otherwise known as the Christmas tree worm, is a species located in most subtropical and tropical reefs around the world. It is found in the skeleton of specific species of coral. Christmas tree worms are sexually dimorphic, with indirect development and a broadcast spawning reproduction method. Their distinguishing feature is their tentacle whorls which they use to suspension feed and respire
