Size
There is a large range of the size for g. clavigera, thus it is very difficult to give a definite length of the worms. However, according to Britayev & Zamishliak (1996), they did a survey on the different size range of the polychaete. They found out that the ratio of body width to length for female was 0.17 while it is 0.13 for males. This measurement only include worms which are complete and were not regenerating.
